MP3 section opened! |
Monday 5, May 2008 |
Hi folks, after had been busy writing music, I finally mixed down some of the tracks I made months ago. I'll put them online one by one, as soon as I get them finished. Tracks updated today: Chemical Implants, Sneaking Out and The Walkthrough. The first and the last are two electronic tunes with groovy rythm and cool arpeggio patterns; the second tune is some kind of spy movie soundtrack - I got really fun playing it. Of course, as I described on that page, the music is freely distributed as royalty free music as long the original author (me) and the website will be indicated. Read more of my terms of use at the proper page. This week I'm sure I will publish some new music, so stay tuned and go to have a listen to the MP3 library.

Photos added! |
Monday 28, April 2008 |
I finally decided to do some shots and upload some photos of me on my site, you can view them in the About page of my site, or at my page on MySpace. On that page I will put more generic photos, and also of my dog Achille, so check them out if you have an account on MySpace! I'm satisfied with these as I got really bored by all those 'at-home-photo' people usually makes. Hopefully I'll do more shots when I'll find some good place to take photos.

New update to the Webdesign area! |
Friday 25, April 2008 |
I updated the Webdesign Gallery with a few new sites I designed lately. About my music, I recently got busy looking for a new place to move my studio. I can't work in my little room, here at home, anymore. Things are getting seriously, and if I want continue composing and working with music I have to find another place, far from the family routines and other distractions. By the way, I have two great new projects, one with my friend Gionathan Pesaresi and another one regarding a new music site I want to open. More details will come. In the meanwhile I'm working on a new song (with vocals) I'll post here soon - so stay tuned!

My first acoustic guitar! |
Wednesday 19, March 2008 |
Many and many times I told myself, man you need an acoustic guitar! Finally I got one. It's a cool looking (and sounding) Ibanez AW40ECE, with a nice Piezo system (Fishman Sonicore). Really good satin finish and tree of life on the fingerboard. Altough it is a cheap guitar, it sounds full and rich, with nice bright tone on higher notes. It has a tuner built in, and it is so useful and quick, I love it! Really worth the money. Surely I'll add it on my next tracks. Basicly real microphones (eg. condenser mics) would be much better than the Piezo to do a good take during recording, but I guess Piezo is my only chance right now, as I don't own microphones at the moment.

Little update to the Webdesign area! |
Saturday 1, March 2008 |
It's have been a long period since my last update, but I'm currently working to a lot of things and busy with some royalty free tracks I'll put here as soon as I get them finished. I had some troubles with my private life as well, a dark period I hope will disappear soon... Actually I feel pretty good these days. In the meanwhile, I updated the Webdesign Gallery with a few new sites I designed lately. More will come within next days, I hope. Stay tuned!

New Sound Effects added! |
Saturday 26, January 2008 |
Hi people, today I have added more than 50 new sound effects to my Sound Effects Library. Surely you have to check them out. Hope you will have no troubles with online playback, as reported on past news. I still have solved them, but I'm working on it. There is still no sounds in the Musical category, as this kind of sounds are hard to do - they should contain musical notes or phrases, but often when you add a musical sound to a project that already has background music, you get bad results. So I'm trying to do something suitable for any condition. Of course, if you have suggestions on what sound I could do, feel free to contact me!

Got a new synth! |
Thursday 24, January 2008 |
Finally I bought a synth I was looking for many months ago. That's a Roland XV5050, the last synth from the famous Roland XV series, and it brings all the sounds of the XV5080 plus more. Some people are complaining it doesn't sound the same as the big brother XV5080, and probably there are some differences because they mounted different A/D converters. But I spent these days some time to play with it, and it sounds great, so I do not care about what people says. And I got cheap, that is always a good thing. :)

Troubles with online music playback! |
Tuesday 15, January 2008 |
Someone has complained about the music player I used on music sections: MIDI Library and Archive page, telling me is not working sometimes on Firefox 2 and Opera browsers. I noticed the problem in fews computers and it seems can stream the content but cannot play it. Unfortunately I can't do anything as I took the player 'as-it-is' and don't know how it has been coded. I will search the web for a solution. In the meanwhile you can still download the track you want and listen to it with your usual player (like WinAmp, MediaPlayer Classic, Windows Media Player, etc.) with any problems.
