Bluvertigo got The Entrance!

Bluvertigo Filippo Vicarelli The Entrance MorganYesterday I went to the concert of one of the best italian bands, one of those I grow up with. Bluvertigo is the first band I believed in when I was a child, and I'm very satisfied they are togheter again after seven years of silence!
The cool thing happened yesterday, I reached three members of the band (and so the leader Morgan) and gave them my own CD "The Entrance" hoping they will like it although isn't the same genre of music but surely has some Bluvertigo influences within.
I'm not expecting they call me to tell "The Entrance" is the coolest thing in their life, but surely a collaboration, or even a remix of one of their songs, would be great.

Restaurant Webdesign Filippo VicarelliJust updated the Webdesign gallery with a new design I made for a local restaurant. It has some nice colour and cartoon style graphic.

She Fooled MeHi people, finally I finished the collaboration with Fabio Musetti, a great singer and a good friend, who added the voice on this new song. The track is called: She Fooled Me. I wrote it - and its lyrics - a lot of moths ago, when I got a bad period of my life... that finally ended up today with this song.
Fabio did a great job and I believe he added more strenght to She fooled me! Thank you Fabio, and thanks to his band called Xfect Wave!

Why Ads?

Hi everyone, maybe you'll be asking yourself why my website is now filled by ads, banners, and whatever. Well, I noticed visitors and downloads on last couple of months are increased, and I obviously am glad of this, but it's not cheap to mantain a website with high traffic and a lot of free downloadable goodies.
So I hope to get some money back to pay my host service while trying to be not too annoying with these ads or ask donations by users surfing the web. So just ignore it or maybe you could find something interesting or even useful.

Five new tracks online!

Halloween Music by Filippo VicarelliHello there!
This morning I just uploaded five new tracks to the MP3 Section. They are various genre, some smooth and romantic, and some other cool and groovy. Titles are the following: City Lights, Dreaming, Halloween Park, Pink Lady and Romantic Attitude.
Actually some of them are a bit old (2007) but I pick them up from my archives as I considered them good music to add and don't mean to waste ideas and finished works.
As usual, feel free to use them on your project, and remember to give credit to me and my website - this will help me a lot creating even more tracks, thank you!

This is just a quick note to say I updated the flash media player on this website with the newest version. Hope this helps to fix all those troubles that some users encountered time ago. I'll check personally with different browsers to ensure that everything will be OK. Take it easy.

Filippo Vicarelli new MP3Another update to the MP3 Section. I uploaded a new groovy electronic track and a more mysterious, magic tune with orchestral arrangement. Names of the songs: Gorilla Saved You and Musical Box.

RPG Game MusicThis time I ulpoaded to the MP3 Library a couple of new nice tracks, they have acoustic arrangement with flutes, acoustic guitar, percussions and can be really soothing.
Their name are: Sleeping Village and The Rolling Farm.
They both reminds me about fantasy natural environments of RPG games, hope you'll like them.
More will come the next days, stay tuned!

Spotlight: "Videogame Music Showreel " my new CD!

Videogame Music Showreel Filippo VicarelliWhy don't you have custom music? This audio CD was intended to give an insight of my capabilities as a music composer.

Covering all genres in one CD was not possible, for this reason I picked up some of the most common game styles and created a tune in the way I used to like it was made.
Altough all music tracks are originally written, performed and produced by myself, you could notice some influences in both titles and music from famous games - all of this was obviously intentional.
Special thanks to Mirka Andolfo, the author of the cover artwork! It was written and produced between july 2008 and october 2008.
This CD is completely free, and can be downloaded at the Albums page of this website!
