Since I was a child, I like to draw and put stories in images

This gallery contains all my drawings including comics (eg. all panels of Another Breed - my official comics) illustrations, and sprite or characters done in Pixel Art graphics.

About Another Breed

This is my latest original comic, you can read an english plot here, as all the panels are available in italian only...! Sorry but I can't translate some dialogs as it tends to use big unfamiliar words and I'd alter the whole meaning.
Also I'm not a book-writer, scriptwriter, comic-strip artist, expert drawer, etc. and I am not able to use special pens, inks or some other professional tools. I just hope my panels quality don't make you to run away, I would just get fun creating a story with drawings like I did when I was only a child and share them for entertain someone!

Another Breed part 2 The story go on! Finally in 2006 I decided to continue my comics series by drawing 16 new panels, available also in PDF version by clicking on Download button. You can note better drawings as I keep practicing a lot before begin this second part. Hope a third part coming out soon!

Another Breed part 1 AAfter the end of my previous comics series Street Menace (last ten episodes!) I decided to start another one, to keep practicing my drawing passion. This first part (part not mean episode!) was drawed in 2002, really old. Click on the Download button for the PDF version!

Pixel Art - Old Stuff A nice collection of some my past works. I did pixel art graphics mainly for videogames, so these illustrations are just some part of them or old bits and pieces I never classified as illustrations or sprite for my games. There is also some work I did for past PA contest.

Spotlight: "Videogame Music Showreel " my new CD!

Why don't you have custom music? This audio CD was intended to give an insight of my capabilities as a music composer.

Covering all genres in one CD was not possible, for this reason I picked up some of the most common game styles and created a tune in the way I used to like it was made.
Altough all music tracks are originally written, performed and produced by myself, you could notice some influences in both titles and music from famous games - all of this was obviously intentional.
Special thanks to Mirka Andolfo, the author of the cover artwork! It was written and produced between july 2008 and october 2008.

Quick note about Filippo Vicarelli

Filippo Vicarelli is a polyhedric artist and mostly a music composer, multi instrumentalist, writing music both for his own CD albums, as well as for Video Games, Documentaries, Multimedia, Websites, interactive CDROMs, and other projects.

He specially love to write soundtracks and produce sound effects for freeware and commercial games. He is also starting sells his self-produced CD albums (either on CD or as digital download through various outlets) for pure enjoyment, and not for living, with hope to deliver his music around the world for people's pleasure.
He tries his best to go for an original sound - kind of melodic, inspiring and well suited for defined context and atmosphere.
