New soundtrack for Dino Quake

Indie Game Music for Dino QuakeDino Quake is the latest game from Neutronized. Based on the jurassic age this game resembles some arcade titles of the past decades that personally I enjoyed a lot. Also, it does support multiplayer for 2 players on the same computer. From the original game description: “Hit the ground to generate quakes to knock out enemies. Dino Quake is an old-school multiplayer arcade game which takes place in the dinosaurs age.” Tell me more

Save it and keep for later.

It’s not uncommon to have an idea while you are freely playing in your studio with any intention of begin working on something. You just keep playing that group of notes, glad to have found a great melody, and with some ideas about a possible future arrangement that would probably turn it into a great piece. You just know it will be, and you’re somewhat satisfacted with this idea in mind.

You are satisfied just enough that you’re less motivated to do the hard work needed to build the song from beginning to end. And this is not good, in fact try to think what your friends can know about this: did you write another new good music? Be honest, you didn’t. You actually have not made any progress with your music.

Completing a song from the little piece you got “saved for later” is just a good routine that make you grow and practice on doing music. As it could lead you into something fantastic like you were expecting or you may encounter a lot of difficulties that makes you realize what a weak idea you were saving for a future opportuniy – in either case, finish your song or you will never know. And you’d better to do it as soon as possible, leaving it incompleted for 2-3 days will make you lose inspiration and interest in it – what a waste of time and ideas!

Website update!

Finally got a chance to update this website. Altough some pages have the same old content of my previous one, everything is now much more simple and clean.
Also, I integrated some social stuff on the homepage, including my new YouTube Channel.
Hopefully I will post some new photos of my studio gear, actually I moved to a different location twice, also some stuff is gone.
That’s all for now, stay tuned!

Sky Island Soundtrack

Sky Island is a revolutionary platform game, that use a 2D/3D gameplay never seen before on a Flash game. From the original game description:
“Dark Souls have landed on the Sky Island and are ready to steal all the stars. It’s now up to you to defeat the Dark Souls and save the land from their menace.”
I wrote various music tracks for Sky Island and got some nice feedbacks from the players.
Also, this game appeared on Edge, the popular british magazine focused on videogames, as the “internet game of the month”. You definitely have to check it out!

This nice little arcade game is a special title developed for the Easter Day featuring different egg types, ufos and tons of tiny chicks. Pretty epic!

Icy Cave Soundtrack

Icy CaveAnother Neutronized title needed some good and ice-cold music for its gameplay. From the original game description:
“Help yetis to get back to their home. Solve the puzzles and defeat the snow trolls you will find in the icy cave!”
Icy Cave could remind someone an old title called Lemmings, but it have some nice original features plus the easier gameplay makes it very playable.
Just go and play !

New shooter game featuring my music!

Before august break from work I made a new flash game soundtrack for a game titled Ray Quest, produced by Neutronized. This cool shooter game features real 3D graphics never seen on Flash games before, plus it has a nice arcade feeling in it. The game is also easy playable by everyone, I really suggest you to go play it now and don’t stop until you reach the final boss!
Also, hope to have great news about PlayOnLoop soon, the website is almost finished but I have some legal stuff to worry about before open it to the people.
Stay tuned.
